Dr. Javier Elizalde, at the International Congress of Ocular Oncology

Dr. Javier Elizalde, vitreoretinal surgeon and coordinator of COB’s Ocular Oncology Unit, was the only Spanish participant in the International Congress of Ocular Oncology held in Buenos Aires (Argentina). Javier Elizalde presented its experience in surgery of the complications associated with intraocular tumors and moderated a session with the prestigious Dr. Jerry Shields. Professor Jorge Malbrán, a native of Buenos Aires and close friend of Professor Joaquín Barraquer, received the Stallard medal for his scientific career. |
