The Institute is composed of members of the number of merit, honor, guiding and protective, and he may belong ophthalmologists from around the world who wish to participate in their scientific work and teaching.

They can also be ascribed as co ophthalmologists not all physicians and practitioners who are interested in issues related to the field, allowing them to access the library, photographic documentation department and the surgical amphitheater, as well as attending courses and conferences.

Individuals and businesses as well as libraries and other institutions wishing to collaborate and support with their contributions or gifts of teaching and research of the Institute may be ascribed to it as "Co-protectors."
