Eyelid malpositions

Malposiciones-Palpebrales
The eyelids are, relative to the eye, a fundamental task of protection. Any alteration in the position of the eyelids may lead to a decrease in eye protection, creating dryness of the cornea, or even altering the ocular surface with impaired vision.

The main eyelid malposition is the upper eyelid ptosis (drooping eyelid), and ectropium entropium (eyelids rotated inward or outward), and malposition of the lashes. There are currently treated by laser or radiofrequency surgery under local anesthesia for outpatient care provided.
