Presbyopia, familiarly called "sight" is the result of the loss of accommodation, the physiological capacity allows us to maintain a clear image of an object as it approaches us. Above 40 years of presbyopia is becoming more evident, until the accommodation reaches its minimum at 65. Today, in addition to reading glasses, bifocals and progressive lenses are bi-or multifocal.
