Amblyopia

Amblyopia, commonly known as "lazy eye" is the delayed development of visual function to a greater or lesser degree. Usually affects one eye, but can be bilateral. The diagnosis and early treatment are essential in the first four years, when the visual cortex is better suited to visual stimuli.
