Cataract

Cataratas
This condition occurs in the lens of the eye's natural lens that can focus on objects near and far. When the lens loses its transparency, the images are cloudy and, as the opacity increases, we lose visual acuity.
The actual surgery can, however, recover normal vision and even better than it had had in a long time. Cataract surgery involves removing the cloudy lens, leaving the capsule that contains it and replacing it with an intraocular lens.
The surgery is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia, today is a quick and painless, highly effective and low risk.
