This program consists of a variable stay, never exceeding one academic year, during which participants can attend sessions from the surgical amphitheatre with its transparent domes and also benefit from the educational activities of the Institute. They have also access to the library of the institution, for which they must be duly registered, and make use of the photographic documentation department.

This is a very helpful program either for recent graduates who want to get close to the specialty of ophthalmology, for the generalist wishing to know more about eye diseases, or the ophthalmology resident from other institutions who wants to see how they work at Barraquer Institute and Centro de Oftalmología Barraquer.
