Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Barcelona in 1996 and specialized in Ophthalmology (2001). To complement his formation in 2007 he made a stay at "Bascom Palmer Eye Institute" in Miami (USA) with Dr. Philip Rosenfeld.

In Centro de Oftalmología Barraquer he is sub-specialized in vitreo-retinal surgery and he is the coordinator of treatments for Age Related Macular Degeneration as well as the Department of Optical Coherence Tomography.
