Those ophthalmologists interested in learning and go deeper into a particular aspect of ophthalmology, surgical technique, or simply wishing to update their knowledge, have a special program to visit Centro de Oftalmología Barraquer during a variable period of time not longer than one month.

During his stay, the ophthalmologist may participate in all educational and scientific activities organized by the Institute. He/She is also entitled to observe any medical and surgical procedures of his/her interest from the transparent domes of the five surgical amphitheaters, having also access to the library and the department of photographic documentation.
