Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Lleida (2002), specialist in Ophthalmology (2007), he is currently developing his practice in Ocular Surface and Cornea Units at Centro de Oftalmología Barraquer. He also collaborates with the Eye Bank in the processes of the eye tissue preservation, monitoring protocols, etc..

It is to be noted his educational work in the courses organized by the Institut Universitari Barraquer (IUB), as a teacher on the subject of the "Skin and sensorial organs " in the International University of Catalonia (UIC). He is the Coordinator of Residents at Centro de Oftalmología Barraquer.

He is a member of the Research Committee of the IUB, having participated in some humanitarian expeditions of Barraquer’s Foundation to Cameroon, Senegal and Mozambique.
