Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (1983), a specialist in Ophthalmology (1990), he supplemented his training with a Master Course on the eye anterior segment at Institut Universitari Barraquer. He graduates in Optics and Optometry.

He develops his activity in the Refractive Surgery Unit of Centro de Oftalmología, and he is also Teaching Guardian.
