What is refractive surgery?
Refractive surgery is a combination of surgical techniques that aim to correct refractive errors of the eye (myopia, hypermetropia and astigmatism) and thereby eliminate, or reduce to a minimum, the patient's depedence on glasses and contact lenses.
We can divide it into two groups: techniques that use the laser to modify the curvature of the cornea (LASIK, PRK and SMILE) and techniques where an intraocular lens is implanted.

- Your eyesight is stable.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
