Dr. Hayat Ahmad Khan


Dr. Hayat Ahmad Khan specialized in the field of paediatric ophthalmology, with a career spanning over 25 years. In 2024, Dr. Khan joined the esteemed Barraquer Eye in Dubai Healthcare City 2.

Dr. Khan's academic journey includes fellowships at McGill University (Canada) and the Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto), specializing in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. He completed his residency at Aligarh Muslim University, followed by specialized training in anterior segment procedures at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences and small incision cataract surgery in Nepal.

His expertise covers a range of complex ophthalmic conditions in paediatric ophthalmology, with a particular focus on complex strabismus, as well as paediatric glaucoma and cataract. Dr Khan's surgical expertise also extends to cataract and glaucoma surgery in adults, and the treatment of anterior segment problems.
