On 6 October, Dr. M. López Fortuny participated in the IV Orbit and Eyelids Surgical Anatomy Course, at the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Within the programme, Dr. López Fortuny was part of the Group in charge of performing dissections of the eyelids, outer corner and floor of the orbit.

The primary objective of the course is for the student to conduct an anatomical dissection of the orbit using different approaches, in order to gain an accurate and anatomical view of it, so they can then perform the procedure with greater knowledge. The techniques to be developed by the attendees will be an endoscopic endonasal approach to the medial wall of the orbit; an external approach to the lateral and lower wall of the orbit, and a dissection of the orbital roof and floor, eyelids and outer corner.
