Aniridia

Aniridia understand the complete absence (or near) the iris. While this may result from trauma or surgery, the term refers to a congenital defect is almost always bilateral.
What ophthalmology can do to improve the vision of people with aniridia is still limited. We currently have shaped implants diaphragm, integrated or not with intraocular lens capable of replacing the iris.
