The Barraquer Foundation, within the framework of the 'Mirem per tu' program, organized last Tuesday, May 7, a day of eye health check-ups at the Nou Quitxalles Educational Association of Hospitalet de Llobregat, a collaborating centre of the Probitas Foundation. A total of 38 children and young people between 7 and 16 years old from the 'Dinem Junts' program were visited, 13 of whom will have to go to General Optica in the coming weeks to undergo a more exhaustive optometric examination, determine the exact prescription and get glasses that allow them to solve their vision problems; another 3 users with possible ocular pathologies will soon be visited at the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre with the appropriate specialist in each case.
We especially appreciate the collaboration of our colleagues at the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre, Dr. Clara Pons, Dr. Nuria Cintas and the optometrist Luis Martínez.
On May 21 we will travel to Santa Coloma de Gramenet to organize another day of check-ups at another of the Probitas Foundation's collaborating centres.
