Description

This program has been developed following the purpose of exploring thoroughly the lastest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of the eye globe’s anterior segment pathologies.

The structure of contents follows the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) layout, and is backed up with ECTS. It is composed of a number of online didactic units to which students may access through our Moodle platform, as well as streaming lessons that will enable you to update your knowledge comfortably, all the while enjoying the utmost scientific rigor and controlling also some of its elements, such as the place, time and and working area.

The main purpose aims at sharing our ophthalmologists expertise through the lastest innovations mustered in the field. You will be attaining the necessary knowledge to strengthen your diagnosis criterion as well as enhancing your self-assuredness and skills in providing therapeutic advice to patients.

Curriculum

The program is compounded of eight modules, all of which include exclusive didactic materials accessible on our Moodle platform, and of which six are provided with streaming sessions scheduled once a month and distributed between october and june.

Refractiva surgery
Ocular surface pathology
Cornea pathology
Glaucoma
Anterior chamber, iris and ciliary body pathologies.
Complex clinical cases, emergency surgery and eye trauma.
Introduction to scientific methodology. Master's thesis (TFM) and defence before a panel of professors.
