Dr. Muhsen Samaan is the Medical Director of Barraquer Eye Hospital UAE. He carries with him over 4 decades of experience in Ophthalmology care. Dr Muhsen can treat a broad range of eye related conditions, with a specialization in glaucoma and cataract surgery. He has conducted over 700 surgical procedures annually related to cataract, glaucoma, emergency eye surgery and laser eye surgery.

Dr. Muhsen joined Barraquer Ophthalmology center in 1979 and has been the spokesperson in various Ophthalmology congresses and conferences. Along with providing compassionate and expert care to his patients, Dr. Muhsen also has a passion for serving the community. He is not only an instructor surgeon of resident physicians but is also a teacher for PhD and Master courses. He is an active member of the Barraquer Foundation, which provides support and help to the most vulnerable groups of the society.
