Can I have an interpreter?
Yes, the Barraquer Centre has a team of interpreters for all languages. If you require this service, please indicate so at the time of requesting your appointment and the international patient care department will assign one to you. In this case, you will have exclusive use of the interpreter during your whole stay. They will accompany you even if you have to have surgery in the operating theatre.
Can I stay at the clinic?
Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre provides accommodation for patients who have to be admitted, which is why the stay depends on the duration and management required by each case. However, we always provide our international patients with the best recommendations to optimise their stay, so that both you and your relatives enjoy the most comfortable option.
Can my relatives join me during my hospital stay?
Your relatives can accompany you for your whole stay. However, if you are admitted, only one person can stay overnight with you, as the rooms are not large enough for more people.
Are there any hotels near the Centre?

Yes, Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre offers a private chauffeur-driven transport service for every patient who requests it, for pick-up at the airport or to get around during your stay. Will I be able to get my medical report in my language?
Yes, all patients of Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre receive a medical report of their case and they can request it any language whatsoever.
