Facial mesotherapy is carried out through microinjections in a quick and simple procedure.
No special care is required on the part of the patient; only the correct choice of a specialised clinic to attend for the treatment. Once in consultation, the doctor will carry out a thorough assessment and cleanse the skin to prepare it.
The procedure lasts approximately 30 minutes. Although the injection technique may be performed manually or with different devices, at Barraquer we carry it out using a sophisticated system in which we incorporate the finest needle on the market to determine precisely the depth, injection speed, and amount of product applied to each patient. In this way, we perform a large number of injections with minimal marking and maximum precision.
These micropunctures enhance the patient’s experience, optimising results and providing greater safety, more comfort, fewer bruises, and virtually no pain. The treatment biorevitalises, provides intense hydration, corrects fine wrinkles, and gives immediate radiance.
Facial mesotherapy is compatible with other treatments such as hyaluronic acid, botulinum toxin, revitalising peels, microneedling, or intense pulsed light (IPL).
The appearance of slight erythema or facial redness during the first 24 hours is common. The patient may resume their activities immediately after the treatment, as it is an outpatient procedure. Although it is a treatment suitable for any time of year, even in summer, it is advisable to avoid sun exposure, UV rays, and sub-zero temperatures for at least 48 hours afterwards. It is recommended to undergo two or three facial mesotherapy sessions per year, leaving an interval of one month between each session. The patient may repeat the treatment again whenever they wish.
