Dr. Álix de Faria, a fourth year resident in ophthalmology at the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre, will assume the responsibility of chief resident for the next MIR 2021-2022 training cycle, which began on May 26.

Dr. de Faria will take over from Dr. Clara Álvarez de Toledo, who held the position to date and with whom she has already begun to collaborate on organizational tasks. She will also work with the teaching team of the Centre to optimize in the best possible way the programming of theoretical and assistance of the residents of the Centre.

We want to congratulate Dr. Álix de Faria for her new responsibility at the Center and also take the opportunity to thank Dr. Álvarez de Toledo for the work that she has developed in the position.
