The Barraquer UAE Eye Hospital celebrates five years since its inauguration in October 2021, establishing itself as a key project in Barraquer’s international expansion. Located in Dubai, the hospital was founded with the aim of bringing Barraquer’s experience and model of care to the Middle East, combining medical excellence, technological innovation and personalised care.
Over these five years, the centre has strengthened its presence in the region, reinforcing its clinical activity and progressively expanding its medical team to meet the needs of the growing project. This development reflects the hospital’s consolidation and its commitment to the values of excellence, innovation and quality of care that define the institution.
On this anniversary, we would like to express our special thanks to Dr Muhsen Samaan, the hospital’s Medical Director, for his dedication, commitment and leadership of the medical team. His leadership has been instrumental in driving the development and consolidation of the project, contributing to its growth and ensuring the continuity of Barraquer’s standards of care.
