Dr. Santiago Abengoechea

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Barcelona (1996), and is an ophthalmology specialist (2001). He complemented his education with a training period at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami (2007) with Dr. Philip Rosenfeld. At the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre, his subspecialist area is vitreo-retinal surgery and he is the coordinator of Age-Associated Macular Degeneration (AMD) treatments and the Optical Coherence Tomography Department.
