She is a graduate of Medicine and Surgery (2001), and a specialist in ophthalmology (2006). In 2004, she undertook a three-month placement at the Miguel Burnier Pathological Eye Anatomy Register of the University Institute of Applied Ophthalmology (IOBA) in Valladolid. She currently works in the Retina and Vitreous Department of the Barraquer Ophthalmology Department. Her work in the field of age-associated macular degeneration (AMD) diagnosis, treatment and follow-up is particularly noteworthy.

- She is the content coordinator for the Master’s degree on the Posterior Segment and member of the Barraquer Institute teaching team.
